Terms of service
The terms that govern your use of Docvize, operated by Softvize Ltd.
Last updated: 14 June 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Softvize Ltd (“we”, “us”) for the use of Docvize. Docvize is a trading name of Softvize Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company number 15843296), registered office Unit B1 The Knowledge Gateway, Nesfield Road, Colchester, United Kingdom, CO4 3ZL. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
The service
Docvize analyses contracts, tracks renewal dates and stores your agreements in one place. The analysis is a tool to help you, not legal advice - you remain responsible for decisions you make about your contracts.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the activity of users in your workspace. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Docvize: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or access other customers’ data, no reselling the service without our agreement, and no uploading content you do not have the right to process.
Your content
Your contracts and the data within them remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process them so we can provide the service. We do not use your documents to train AI models. You can export your data and close your account at any time.
Plans, trials and payment
Free trials run for 14 days with no card required and no automatic charge. Paid plans are billed in advance; prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where it applies. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, with changes taking effect from your next billing date. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Availability
We work hard to keep Docvize available and backed up, but the service is provided “as is”. We may carry out maintenance and will give reasonable notice of significant planned downtime where we can.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Termination
You can stop using Docvize and close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On termination you can export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions? Email [email protected].
